Livestock Health Advisors

Whole Health Agriculture's system is focused on prevention and early intervention using a simple toolkit of nosodes, homeopathic remedies and natural supplements to boost livestock resilience and immunity.

WHAg offers the services of Livestock Health Advisors trained in this preventative system to provide practical advice to farmers ready to take their livestock health to a whole new level. All WHAg Advisors are farmers themselves who have completed intensive training and assessment under the supervision of veterinary surgeon Chris Aukland, WHAg's Head of Livestock Health Programmes.

NB: The WHAg Advisor’s role is educational and advisory to help farmers they support achieve their health targets using our Whole Health system. They never diagnose or treat animals; that is the role of the vet.

Farmers who integrate our approach report that their animals cope better with everyday stresses that can trigger unwanted consequences such as loss of production, failure to thrive, or disease.

"Since Pammy our Advisor started teaching me how to apply the remedies, the cows are performing better over the calving period, retained cleansings have definitely reduced or been less severe, and my ability to control flies in the parlour without the use of chemicals has made summer milking a pleasure! I'm learning when to pop the remedies into the trough and know that I have stepped in to prevent full-blown mastitis. Having this measure of control feels very reassuring."

Pammy Riggs, UK

Dairy Specialist

For 30 years I ran Providence Farm with my husband Ritchie, winning several organic awards. I am based in Devon, UK but am happy to travel/work remotely with any farmer, anywhere.

I really do believe that with the way farming and farm funding is progressing, every available penny of the farm budget has to be put towards improving health and preventing problems. With good health comes profitability - as a WHAg trained Livestock Health Advisor it is my job to help farmers achieve their health and economic goals. Saving money is as important as making money.

Eric Kuijf, Norway

Sheep Specialist

For twenty years, with wife Inge, I organically farmed one of the oldest breeds of sheep in Norway, Gammelnorsk Spælsau/Old Norwegian Short Tail.

The WHAg system transformed our understanding and the management of our livestock health and is a key part of the way that I work with other farmers. Learning the ability to use homeopathy proactively meant the vet rarely needed to call, but if they did, we had already started managing the case. Homeopathy was (and still is) the first choice.

There are no homeopathic vets here in Norway and together with other WHAg associates I continue to advocate for the use of homeopathy on the farm. I am happy to work on an international level, being fluent in several languages.
