This Materia Medica is a book of Homeopathic remedy pictures. It details the symptom pictures and therapeutic uses of 94 remedies chosen for their usefulness to livestock farmers and animal keepers. As well as familiar remedies it features the less familiar, including farm nosodes and the tissue salts which are so useful for youngstock, breeding females and 'oldstock'.

This Repertory is a book of symptoms which the farmer or livestock keeper is likely to encounter in their animals. The symptoms are listed from ‘head to hoof’ (or nose to tail) using animal terminology making it easy to quickly find useful remedies, even in an emergency. There are additional sections for aetiology, acutes, appetite, behaviour/emotion, and the weather.
